Supported AVI Converion Formats
The table below shows the current cabilities and limitations of MKVtools for common combination of video and audio codecs in the original .mkv/.ogm file. Note, these are limitations of the UNIX tools like mencoder and mkvextract and there is not much I can do about it until newer versions of these tools are released.
