Welcome to the home of EmmGunn, where you'll find some Mac OS X tools focused on preparing videos from the internet for use on DivX certified DVD players. These are applications that I wrote for my own use, and then I thought I'd pretty them up and share. Here is the current list:
- MKVtools
- You just downloaded a video from the internet. It's a Japanese anime with subtitles and it doesn't have the .avi file extension that you're used to. Instead, the extension is .mkv or .ogm and you're not sure what to do with the file. MKVtools is the tool for you.
- Batch Unpacker Plus
- You've downloaded a video from the internet and have burned it to a CD to be played on your DivX certified DVD player. Everything looks good until you notice that the video has an annoying "stuttering" to it when the camera pans. Batch Unpacker Plus is the tool for you.
- Quick Batcher
- You have a 26-episode anime that you want to convert using the excellent video application ffmpegX. You are frustrated by the tediousness that is involved when you have to process each video individually. Quick Batcher is the tool to speed up that process for you.
